How to fix "BlueBlast is damaged and can't be opened" on Mac
This happens because macOS blocks apps that aren't signed by Apple (this is normal for r2modman/BlueBlast). The file is NOT actually damaged — we just need to remove Apple's safety flag.
Download the latest macOS version
Download the latest macOS version from the official link (if you haven't already).
Open the DMG file
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file (e.g., BlueBlast.dmg
or similar).
Install BlueBlast to Applications
A window with the BlueBlast app will open. Drag the BlueBlast.app icon from that window into your Applications folder (there's usually a shortcut arrow shown).
Eject the disk image
Eject the disk image (click the eject button next to it in Finder or drag it to the trash).
Open Terminal
Open Terminal (press Cmd + Space, type "Terminal", and hit Enter).
Run the command
Copy and paste this exact command into Terminal and press Enter:
You'll be asked for your Mac password
Type it (you won't see the characters as you type, that's normal) and press Enter again.
Wait for completion
Wait a second (it will just go back to the prompt, no message needed).
Launch BlueBlast
Now go to your Applications folder and double-click BlueBlast.app — it will open normally with no warning!
That's it!
From now on it will always open without any issues. You only have to do steps 5–7 once.
